ABOUT ME
I have a Masters degree in Contemporary Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Hertfordshire. As well as my private practice I have previous extensive experience working within a NHS Community Mental Health Team in Hertfordshire and as an HM Prison's Counsellor. I have also taught counselling to diploma level at Farnborough College of Technology, Westminster Adult Education Service and Hertford Regional College.
I regularly attend training seminars and talks to ensure my knowledge and practice is continuously updated and enhanced.
When seeking a psychotherapist or counsellor to work with you it is important they are supported by and/or accredited with a professional (governing) body, this ensures they have the appropriate training and experience. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP): www.bacp.co.uk and I abide by their code of ethics.
Through my work with the NHS and HM Prison Service I have Enhanced DBS clearance and I have professional indemnity insurance.
